The Family Giving Tree is a non-profit organization, based in Northern California's San Francisco Bay Area, which is dedicated to fulfilling the holiday wishes of low-income children who would otherwise go without gifts. We are now in the following metropolitan areas: San Francisco, Austin, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Portland and Seattle, helping tens of thousands of children each year. Last holiday season we reached a huge milestone; we granted more than half a million children's wishes since our program's inception! The program works by selecting families who have registered with social service agencies that have been approved by the Family Giving Tree.

Individuals and companies can give in one of two ways: by hosting a Giving Tree, which has wish cards specifying a child's wish for employees or customers to fulfill or by choosing a specific child's wish to sponsor online via our Web site.
