I have run into situations where a nice book helped with understanding and learning about a certain situation. For example: new baby, going to school, family models, divorce etc. These books all touch upon topics that occur in our lives and may help our little ones understanding them better.

If your child is like my daughter, she is all about projects. While it's always fun to create your own unique project, sometimes it's nice to use an all-inclusive craft kit for project time.
