Story

Growing up, I despised practicing. There was just something about it that made me frustrated - I think it was because I messed up a lot of the time. Messing up isn’t fun, being imperfect isn’t, either, but that’s who we are as humans - incredible, imperfect people. As a kid, though, that can be a tough fact to accept. Honestly, it’s hard to accept as an adult, too. 

As kids, there can be a lot of pressure from parents to excel, even if the encouragement to do better is done out of love. The most encouraging thing I ever heard from my parents when I tried to make something perfect was to keep at it. The only way to ensure you receive the results you wish for is to make sure you’re working at making certain it gets done. No one can achieve the results you envision. 

The most rewarding part of hard work is seeing how it pays off. While no one can achieve perfection, we can reach a moment when we’re so proud, so happy with how things turned out, and that can only be achieved by keeping at your work. When you feel like giving up, just look down at this adorable ZOX on your wrist and remember, you can do this.
