Dark Chocolate Peppermint Drizzle Popcorn Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 microwave bags of popcorn, about 9 cups popped

  • 1 cup dark chocolate melting chips

  • 1/2 tsp peppermint extract

  • Green & red sugar pearls

Instructions

  1. Pop popcorn according to packaging directions. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Add your popcorn and spread into a single layer.

  2. Add melting chips to a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 10 seconds at a time until melted, stirring between rounds.

  3. Once melted, add the peppermint extract and stir. 

  4. Drizzle the chocolate over the popcorn with a spoon or piping bag. 

  5. While the chocolate is still melty, add the sprinkles. Allow chocolate to set completely before transferring to a serving bowl.

    • NOTE: we recommend using buttered popcorn, so the seasoning adheres well

  • 3 Tbsp cane sugar

  • 1 Tbsp allspice

  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon

  • 1 Tbsp ground ginger

  • 1/2 Tbsp ground cloves

  • 1/2 Tbsp nutmeg

  1. Pop popcorn according to packaging directions. 

  2. Combine the sugar, allspice, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and nutmeg in a small bowl. Mix together until combined.

  3. Sprinkle the seasoning mix onto the popcorn and toss to coat evenly.
