Nature is always maintaining a delicate balance. The harshest storms and mildest temperatures all serve a purpose. So why is it so difficult to accept that fluctuation in our lives? Our minds might not be an actual forest, but they go through just as much to create something beautiful.

The old adage of weather the storm is the perfect description of this natural flow within you. I certainly don’t feel happy all of the time. Loneliness seeps in on the days I miss my long-distance boyfriend or anxiety washes over me as I navigate new financial obstacles. But no matter what, those feelings fade. It always takes time and effort to make it through that discomfort, but when the storm clouds fizzle away, everything seems so clear. 

When you look down at this wristband, remember that the bad moments serve as an integral launching point for the good moments. The storm is your moment to bolster your defenses, reflect on your progress, and be ready to step into the sunlight!
